Welcome to The Groovement, a community and live music discovery platform. These terms and conditions contain important legal obligations. Please read them carefully before using our platform or participating in any community features.

1. General Terms & Membership

The Groovement LLC. ("the groovement") is a community and live music discovery platform. We do not guarantee the content, accuracy, safety, integrity, or quality of any content or event published on our platform. The groovement is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of content submitted, uploaded, posted, emailed, displayed, transmitted, or otherwise made available on the platform or on social media.

• Pricing & Benefits: The pricing for your membership and the benefits associated with it, including access to guest lists, are subject to change. We reserve the right to change the price of the membership at any time, with advance notice provided to members. The guest list benefit is offered on an "unlimited" and "first-come, first-served" basis, but we reserve the right to modify the structure of this benefit as our platform and community grow.
• Account Management: You may email boogie@thegroovement.co to request account deletion or to submit notifications of any misuse of the platform. We reserve the right to cancel or suspend an account at any time.
• Patreon Terms: Your use of Patreon's platform is governed by Patreon's own terms of service. The groovement is not responsible for any issues related to payment processing, data security, or other matters handled directly by Patreon.

2. Guest List RSVP Process

By participating in our Patreon community, you may be granted access to a form to RSVP for a limited number of guest list spots for certain shows. This process is subject to the following terms:

• Availability & Confirmation: Guest list spots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting an RSVP request does not guarantee you a spot on the guest list. Spots are confirmed only when you receive an official confirmation.
• Venue Liability: While we work to ensure venues are properly notified of confirmed RSVPs, we are not responsible for any communication failures or errors on the part of the venue, their staff, or the box office. Your confirmed spot may be subject to venue capacity, their specific door policies, and other factors outside of our control. The Groovement is not liable if a venue or event organizer denies entry for any reason.
• Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend a show you have RSVP'd for, you must notify us immediately by emailing boogie@thegroovement.co. We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice to allow us the possibility of offering the spot to another member. However, we are not obligated to find a replacement for your spot.

3. Event Changes and Cancellations

Showtimes, venues, dates, performers, artists, acts, and players are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. The groovement has no control over these changes.

• No refund will be owed, nor will a confirmed guest list spot be transferable, if any performer, artist, act, player, or any other scheduled performance is changed or canceled, and the event still occurs.
• In the event of a full event cancellation, your guest list RSVP will be null and void. The groovement is not responsible for providing an alternative guest list spot or any other form of compensation.

4. Data Collection, Privacy & Limitation of Liability

You expressly understand and agree to the following:

• Data Collection: By using the guest list RSVP feature, you consent to the collection of certain personal information, including but not limited to your name and email address. This information is collected solely for the purpose of managing guest list access and communicating with you about your RSVP. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy and the terms of service of any third-party platforms we use.
• Disclaimer of Warranties: This site and any of its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The groovement makes no warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied.
• Limitation of Liability: In no event shall The Groovement, including its affiliates and licensors, be liable for any damages whatsoever, including any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use, or performance of any of the services of this site, including the guest list RSVP system, any unauthorized access to your content, or any issues with a venue or event promoter that result in denied entry.
